Employment Law Representation With 30 Years Experience

I was born in Tulsa. I went to Edison High School and to the following universities:

Undergraduate School:

  • Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas

  • Stanford University, Palo Alto, California

  • Degree in Literature, Southern Methodist University, 1964

Law School:

  • Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas

  • Juris Doctor Degree, 1967

I have been engaged in employment law in Tulsa since 1968. My specialty has always been employment-related legal matters. This is what resonates with me; this is what's important. At the University of Tulsa, I taught employment law. At various other schools and numerous groups in northeast Oklahoma, I lectured on employment law and employee rights.

The states in which I have tried employment law cases in Federal courts include: Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Illinois. I have also been in state courts throughout all of the state of Oklahoma.

I am a trial lawyer, and a darned good one, but I refuse to overlook the "real" people of this world in favor of corporate law. That just isn't me, and never will be me. Other lawyers advertise that they have won or settled cases for millions of dollars. I haven't, and I won't.

Employment law damages are basically what you would have earned had you not been fired (or were refused hiring), less what you earn working elsewhere. So a regular working man or woman may be losing a few thousand a year, or a few tens of thousands of dollars, but not hundreds of thousands or millions. If you are looking for hundreds of thousands or millions, you don't want me. But if you want a realistic settlement won by a lawyer with many years experience in the employment law field, you are in the right place.
